Are you a beginner in watercolors, struggling to control the paint and yet be loose? Have you been painting for some time, but feel that you lack certain fundamental skills? Do you often get frustrated by not being able to control the paint on the paper? Join Peg as she gently teaches you several essential skills and then leads you through two paintings. You will learn skills such as: brush handling, mixing color on the paper and the palette, working on wet and dry paper, laying down large washes, layering color and correcting mistakes. She will also discuss how to use a limited palette. She will offer two step-by-step lessons, so you can learn how to tie it all together. She will also provide color worksheets and individual help. You will go home with two watercolors (you may have to put the finishing touches on at home). Learn why Peg is the most popular watercolor artist in the region, as many of her classes and workshops sell out.
Bring a friend, and have even more fun! A materials list will be provided, or you may buy a kit from Peg for $75. Order by emailing her by June 1, at [email protected], and bring cash to class.
