Do you have a set of watercolor pencils and/or crayons (Caran d'Ache or similar), but don't know what to do with them? Peg will show you several different ways to use them to sketch, make a painting, or add to a watercolor painting.  Whether you want to use these tools to create paintings, to add to mixed media pieces, to sketch or journal on the go, you will learn some valuable techniques.  Peg will share her travel sketchbooks from across the country, full of many techniques.  She will also show you how you can add interest to a mediocre watercolor, or even cover mistakes.  A materials list will be sent soon after you sign up.

Sign up with a friend, and have even more fun!  Space in this class is limited, so don’t wait to sign up.

Comments from a student in my last class:
  • "Peg Sheridan surpasses any expectations anyone could have.  She is very knowledgeable of all types of watercolor artists' styles and expressions.  Unlike most, she is able to share that with her students in a way that inspires.  Peg goes way behond what one would expect for prepping and delivering a wonderful lesson.  She is very kind and always offering a positive comment to help each individual improve. She is a talented artist, a great teacher, and a person anyone would benefit in knowing.  I am so happy I joined her classes."

Don't have supplies?  You can buy a kit from me.  Contact me at least 2 weeks before the class.  The kits have everything you need, plus plenty of paint for several months of painting.  They are $85.

Don't believe the myth that watercolor painting is too hard, and mistakes are forever! I will show you the techniques you need to paint, and how to fix mistakes.  You will be surprised how quickly you improve, with good instruction!
