I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in Provence in 2018, painting and experiencing the culture, with the Studio School in Roanoke.  It was a trip of a lifetime for me.  I loved the landscape, history, culture, food, and people of France.  It was a thrill to paint there, and to spend time in markets, ancient towns, vineyards, a ranch, and beautiful mountains. Most of these paintings were done on site.
