What Do You Want to Learn?
Night Scenes in Watercolor: Saturday Workshop

You can paint mysterious, moody, wonderful paintings of the evening or night in watercolor.  Learn how to plan a night painting, and how to mix rich dark colors.  We will practice techniques for painting sunsets, stars, moonlight, lights, and shadows at night.  Peg will show you how, through demonstrations, step-by-step color worksheets, and individual help.

Skills to be emphasized include: planning your composition, mixing dark colors, planning values from dark to light, painting shadows, layering paint, and keeping shapes simple.  Most students will go home with at least two paintings (you may have to put the finishing touches on at home).  Learn why Peg is the most popular watercolor instructor in the region.
